The demand for this project arouse due to farmers transitioning from diesel to electrical irrigation. Watts Electric constructed the substation in its entirety. The project included concrete foundations, 15kV & 69kV steel structures and switches, arrestors, oil circuit reclosures, current and potential transformers, station service transformer, voltage regulators, bus work, grounding, conduit, power conductors, area lighting, and grading.
