Position: Electrical Apprentice

Salary: $14 - $30, Based Upon Experience
Location: Various, Weeknight Travel Required
Minimum Qualifications:

High School Equivalency, Able to Clear High Security Background Check, No Loss of Driver's License for 2 Years, Able to Lift / Push / Pull 100 Pounds (physical required), Stand / Kneel / Bend on Uneven Surfaces for 13 Hours per Day, and Work 100% Outdoors.

Job Description:

Watts Electric's Heavy Highway Division specializes in roadway lighting and signing, airport lighting and approach systems, duct bank work, substations, high voltage work, directional drilling and fiber optic work.  Position includes framing, spanning of wire, installing conduit, assist on the ground with setting poles, loading and unloading material, operating a bobcat, tamping, and additional duties. 

Hours may range from 40-60 per week, Monday thru Friday. Saturdays will be required certain times of the year. Please see the Career Page for more details regarding benefits.


Position: Apprentice Powerline Graduates

Salary: $16 - $17 per hour
Location: Various, Weeknight Travel Required
Minimum Qualifications:

Powerline Degree, High School Equivalency, No Felony Convictions, No Loss of License for 2 Years, No Smoking, Drug Free, Able to Lift / Push / Pull 100 Pounds (physical required), Stand / Kneel / Bend on Uneven Surfaces for 13 Hours per Day, and Willing to Work 100% Outdoors.

Job Description:

Watts Electric specialized in Distribution, Transmission, Overhead, Underground, and Substation Construction.  We employ 65 Apprentice and Journeymen Lineman.  Whatever the project, Watts Electric has the personnel and equipment to build it. 

Hours may range from 50 - 60 per week.  Four day weeks are offered during certain seasons.  During peak times, Saturday's will be required.  Please see the Career Page for more details regarding benefits.
